Radio 4 Appeal

Those of you who heard Collette’s moving appeal on behalf of the PBC, will not be surprised to learn that, to date, we have received the handsome amount of £4,973.56 in response to her broadcast. You can also hear the appeal below.

Perhaps a great deal of that has been contributed by our members and their friends, but there has also been a considerable amount sent anonymously by listeners who were moved by the passion and sincerity with which Collette pleaded her cause.

The BBC informs us that the amount raised exceeds the average usually donated in response to Sunday appeals.

We at the Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who contributed, and would ask our readers to convey our thanks to friends and relatives who contributed, but do not receive our magazine.
