Delia Smith, OBE is our Honorary Patron. Delia is known in the UK as "The Nation's favourite cook".

Gerard Kelly

Gerard Kelly is probably still best remembered for his role as Willie Melvin in the award winning BBC Scotland sitcom City Lights, and more recently for his role as Callum Finnegan in Brookside, although he has appeared in many other television productions including, PC Duggan in Hamish Macbeth, Jimmy in Eastenders, Dunbar in Dalzeil and Pascoe, Donal in the award winning Play for Today Donal and Sally, Spanky Farrell in The Slab Boys, Arty Jackson in Going Out, amongst many others.

His other theatre performances include Dogberry in Much Ado About Nothing in London's West End, Spanky Farrell in The Slab Boys Trilogy at the Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, Citizen's Theatre Glasgow and The Royal Court Theatre in London, Charlie Hood in A Wholly Healthy Glasgow at the Manchester Royal Exchange, Mount Pleasance Edinburgh, and The Royal Court Theatre in London, Tam Anderson in In Time Of Strife for 7:84 Theatre company, Polly in Man Equals Man at the Almeida Theatre in London, and many others. Gerard recently appeared in a highly successful production of the one man play, King of Scotland at the Edinburgh Festival and last year toured Scotland in Neil Simon's hilarious comedy The Odd Couple with Andy Gray.

His films include Mr Jolly Lives Next Door and More Bad News both for The Comic Strip Productions and The Thirteenth Reunion for Hammer House of Horror. Gerard has just finished filming The Barn, a feature film due for release early next year.
