PBC Day 2023 Conference

9/9/2023 | Edinburgh, UK

The PBC Foundation is proud to be hosting a two-day PBC Conference for PBC patients, and their families and friends. The conference will be hosted in Edinburgh to coincide with PBC Day 2023, which is Sunday 10th September. We shall begin formally on Sat 9th September at 09.30, going through to 4.30 on Sunday afternoon.

Please be advised that this is a two-day event and we would recommend attending both days to make the most of the event. Days one and two will have different information in them and there will be no repeated sessions.

We are working to finalise the programme, and the final details will be announced as soon as is possible. We will be covering PBC and many facets of the condition, including new trials, latest care pathways, Q&A sessions, smaller group sessions for men with PBC, for those with particular symptoms, some of our successful self-care modules, and a friends and family session, etc with many presenters from our Medical Advisory Board and the PBC Foundation team. There will be plenty of time to meet other patients and their families, and to strike up friendships- new and old.

Free accommodation is almost fully booked, so do now be quick to book to secure your accommodation. We still have plenty of room for people who do not need to use our accommodation offer and who want to attend as day delegates.

Reserve your place at the conference and accommodation using the button below

There will also be a virtual element to this conference for those who cannot attend physically. If you would like to attend virtually, please register for the conference using the button below.

You must be registered with the Foundation to book a place but you can bring up to 3 members of your friends and family (if you are using our accommodation, then only one room will be provided per party). If you have not already registered with the Foundation, you can do so using this link here.

Attendance at the conference is absolutely free as is accommodation (albeit currently limited to 50 rooms on a first-come, first-served, basis).

What is included:

  • Two-day conference attendance
  • Lunch, teas and coffees on Saturday
  • Dinner on Saturday
  • Lunch, teas and coffees on Sunday

What is not included:

  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Any travel costs incurred

The number of overnight rooms available to us may increase with availability from the hotel and increased event sponsorship and we shall provide updates as this changes.
