Opportunity for children of Scottish members

We have an exciting new opportunity for our members in Scotland, or rather their children or grandchildren. On the weekend of 9-11th October (starting at 14:00hrs on the 9th), we are holding a weekend of activities, personal development and PBC related education in partnership with Outward Bound at their centre in Loch Eil, near Fort William. This event is free to attend for children and grandchildren of our members.

The weekend will incorporate support sessions from our staff around the Outward Bound programme to help children take the lessons learned apply them to their everyday situation at home.

Outward Bound is an educational charity that uses the outdoors to provide life-changing educational courses and unique experiences for young people. Established in 1941, Outward Bound is the original provider of outdoor education, with an unrivalled safety record. Their mission is to unlock the potential in young people through discovery and adventure in the wild. We are particularly keen that our members’ young people are given the opportunity to access safe adventure in this way, whilst also learning skills in a fun relaxing environment.

We have a limited number of places open to young people aged between 9-11 and 12-16,  the spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis once those are taken we will add people to a waiting list.Booking forms to be returned by the 31st of August. We will reply to all applicants informing them if they have a place or are on the waiting list.
